The fact that Milwaukee reconditions the tools makes me feel that I'll be getting a quality product. The drill performed flawlessly during the wiring of my whole new house. AWSOME! Nothing bad to say. Saw my electrician using it (while i was hacking through studs at 5min each with my cordless). It seriously cut my job time in half! When it arrived, it was not brand new, but as close to new as you could possible get!!!!

I'm very satisfied with this drill. I bought it for use with self-feed bits for drilling through joists, etc, and it has worked out very well. It feels like it will last the rest of my life, if not longer. It wasn't immediately obvious to me from the description that the High/Low gearing is not selectable with a switch -- instead it involves removing the right-angle mechanism, removing the chuck, putting the chuck on the other side of the right-angle mechanism, and re-attaching. Not a quick operation. But for my purposes, I leave it on Low all the time anyway. As far as speed control, it is true variable-speed (trigger controlled), just as you'd expect, but I wasn't 100% sure on that from the description either.
